The Windsurfing Fleet
Hi, and welcome to the Bewl Valley Sailing Club Windsurfing Fleet page. The Windsurfing Fleet at Bewl has been part of the sailing club for many years, we have a fleet that covers the whole age spectrum, all of us with different abilities and interests within the sport.
We welcome youngsters to our fleet where they will be helped and supported by us. We have a T15 group called the Bewl Blasters who compete against other clubs (see link to pictures below). We also hold Open events with other organisations.
We mainly meet on a Saturday, but we are able to Windsurf on all club days and during the week if you sign in at the club house with your competent helm or Level 2 RYA Windsurfing certificate.
Please see our training and racing programme below, all are welcome to take part what ever level you are. Those who like blasting across the reservoir can sign out and use our club GPS units and be part of a new Speed Ladder for 2009.
We are a very social fleet who always enjoy a get together or a trip to the local after a good days sailing.
Find us on the beach and let yourself be known there will always be a central flag to identify ourselves.
