Youth Sailing

Hi Guys, and welcome to the Youth page on BVSC website, I am Jane Crane and I am the new Youth Captain at Bewl.

I look after all the 8 –16 year olds at Bewl and coordinate all the activities with our many supporters and fleet captains. I can be contacted on 01622 820127 for any advice or information, please get in touch.

I am hoping that I have emailed you all by now, if you have not heard from me and have an email address get in touch and then you will receive all the up to date information not just from me but also your fleet captain.

I am just one of a group of people who are able to train and help you in your sailing and we work closely together so that within every boat type and age group your needs are met.

We have Dave Radford who is our Club Professional and he runs the club training programme, he can be contacted at the club on 01892 890930.

Steph Banham is our Oppie Fleet Captain and as well as looking after the Oppie fleet at Bewl she has a group that also travels to the nationals etc, so loads of opportunities there. She can be contacted on her email: [email protected]

We then have Mark Archer who is our new Topper Fleet Captain, he will look after the fleet at Bewl but also has strong links with attending the Topper Zones. His contact details are 07811 210681.

So those are your key people but you will meet many more who are great at volunteering to help our youth and will make sure you have great sailing experience.
