RYA Assistant Instructor Training & Assessment

If you are new to teaching then the Assistant Instructor training scheme allows you to gain experience and find out what it means to become a fully qualified Dinghy Instructor. This course will prepare you to work alongside our instructors.

RYA Dinghy Instructor Training & Assessment

Essential for anyone wanting to teach sailing, our comprehensive course is run by experienced RYA Coaches and will provide a first class start for any new instructor. Four days are spent on training in instructional techniques and the final day is spent on assessment and debriefing. Prior to the course the candidates must have proof of:

1. Pre-entry assessment

2. RYA Powerboat Level 2

3. Current First Aid certificate
