Instructor TrainingRYA Assistant Instructor Training & AssessmentIf you are new to teaching then the Assistant Instructor training scheme allows you to gain experience and find out what it means to become a fully qualified Dinghy Instructor. This course will prepare you to work alongside our instructors. For more details on this training scheme, please contact the club office. 2 Days 09:00 – 17:00 Free for members 27th – 28th February Sat – Sun A019 RYA Pre-EntryThis is an essential pre-requisite for anyone wishing to train as an RYA Dinghy Instructor. 1 Day 10:00 – 17:00 £63 6th February Sat A009 9th October Sat A130 RYA Dinghy Instructor Training & AssessmentEssential for anyone wanting to teach sailing, our comprehensive course is run by experienced RYA Coaches and will provide a first class start for any new instructor. Four days are spent on training in instructional techniques and the final day is spent on assessment and debriefing. Prior to the course the candidates must have proof of: 1. Pre-entry assessment 2. RYA Powerboat Level 2 3.
