Welcome to the home of the largest fleet in the club.
35 of the most attractive sailing boats you will find anywhere, live and sail here, mind you, you can't say that about many of us that sail 'em. However that is exactly what we do, we sail them, even on cold winter Sundays there will be between 12 and 15 out there racing; and it is anticipated that with the warmer weather 20 starters in the fifteen fleet will become the norm. With the age of boats ranging from Classics through Silver fleets right up to brand new (3 last year and 1 about to be delivered) there is always competitive sailing to be had, whatever your ability as a racer. Free ffriendly advice is on hand from the helms and crews; sometimes you don't even have to ask!
With our regular evenings spent together at the pub, our annual barbeque and crews race and several of the boats joining with the Midweekers for Wednesday evening cruising; plus annual trips to the Falmouth regatta (usually 5or 6 of our boats spend the week down there) we actually enjoy ourselves!
Yes, fifteen sailors are the ones with the big grin on their face. |
