FAMILY WEEK 2008

MONDAY 28th July TO FRIDAY 1st AUGUST

We are pleased to hear that you are interested in coming to Family Week this year.  Numbers are limited, and allocated on a “first booked and paid” basis.  Family week is open only to fully paid-up Members of the Sailing Club. The normal Club rules on guests apply. Please bear in mind that Family Week is organised by sailing club members voluntarily.

COSTS
The costs for Family Week this year are £80.00 per family, £30.00 per Individual per week or £15.00 per Individual per day. The Hog Roast will be a £20.00 per family and £6 per Individual payable on booking.  Bar and refreshments are extra. 

CAMPING
A limited number of camping pitches are available on the field.  Those wishing to camp should specify exactly how many caravans/tents they wish to bring.  No BBQ’s can be used on the camping field.

CHILDREN
Parents are responsible for their children at all times.  Neither the organisers, who are unpaid, nor the Club are able to take responsibility for them.  If you are not going to be on site at any time, please make a private arrangement with another parent (preferably not someone involved in the organisation of Family Week).  No-one under the age of 21 years will be able to camp during Family Week without a named parent on site being responsible for them.  

SAFETY BOATS
Safety boats will be on duty during Family Week.  Qualified Safety Boat helms are expected to undertake at least one duty during the week.  To sail outside safety boat cover periods and whenever the competent helm flag is flown (e.g. if the wind is too strong) you must be a competent helm and sign on and off at the Fishing Lodge.
